GREEN EARTH THEATER
Our Environmental Theater Program features Ms. Cameron’s Original Production, “TRASH TAWKIN”. Trash Tawkin is one of the environmentally conscious plays featured in the Green Earth Theater repertoire. All students participate in these productions from rehearsals to presentation. Trash Tawkin is the flagship theater piece about cleaning up the environment. In this production the central characters are the recycled items who talk.
All classes are held at your home school, community center, church or park district. This course helps the students to be ecologically minded. Students are encouraged to write plays, essays, poems or songs relating to being a good steward of the environment in which we live.This course includes acting lessons.

DRAMA INTERVENTIONS
This Theater Programs is designed by you. There are a myriad of issues confronting our youth today. Peer pressure, relational aggression, abstinence, HIV/Aids, pregnancy, dysfunctional family life, drugs, poverty and the list goes on. After speaking with your home school coordinator concerning your issues, an original script will be prepared with dialog, themes and plot that seek an answer to that situation. Once the script is approved, we will begin the methodology. This program is best suited for High School groups, however it can be tailored for middle school students. Parents are caregivers are encouraged to request exclusion of the any of the above subjects as well as make suggestions of alternative ones. This course includes acting lessons.

CULTURE ROUND THE WORLD COURSE
This program is a Lively Interactive Workshop. A cultural presentation is given of one country per month where the students will study their native dances, music, and fashion style and language. Students will participate in choosing the country are encouraged to keep a journal. When possible, students are encouraged to prepare an easy dish representative of that particular country for our monthly “Culture Round the World” Social Hour
